Comrex FieldLink PressBox IP Codec (Coming Soon)
FieldLink is a “press box codec” for sideline reporting. Its main function is to replace expensive wireless mic/IFB solutions for moving sideline reporter audio up to the press box.
Using a directional WiFi Access Point (WAP) in the press box, reporters can use their smartphones to send and receive high quality, low delay audio using the free Comrex FieldTap app available for Android and iPhone. FieldLink has pro-grade audio I/O to deliver sideline audio and allow IFB back to reporters.
- Allows for two sideline reporters simultaneously with built-in return audio
- 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports - power-over-Ethernet port for Wireless Access Point (WAP) & port for WAN connection
- Comrex-recommended WAP has up to 300m range & works with other approved WAPs
- Sideline Encode / Decode: Opus Mono 64 or 128 kb/s
- Studio Codec Upgrade - applied as hardware license

- USB-C power using provided external 30W power supply
