New firmware is compatible with future software-based EAS implementations.
FELTON, CA — Inovonics, Inc has announced a new firmware upgrade to their 677 EAS Triple Tuner that adds new features to enable compatibility with both today´s EAS hardware solutions and future software-based EAS implementations.
The 677 EAS Triple Tuner continues to interface flawlessly with DASDEC and SAGE EAS hardware. Now, with new firmware Rev 1.1.0.0 the 677 also provides 3 simultaneous audio streams that could be ingested by Software-based EAS, adding longevity to broadcasters’ investment in the 677 EAS Triple Tuner.
The all-digital 677 has three discrete and independent receivers for any combination of AM, FM, or WB reception and monitoring. Each 677 receiver has off-air antenna inputs and balanced monaural XLR outputs.
