Overview
Sputnik is our satellite receiver module designed to interface with Pico/ATX and Wegner DB-37 GPIO interfaces. These are the most common units in radio stations with satellite programming. Ask any engineer how much fun it is to deal with satellite triggers into automation systems, show changes, new programming systems, and having to rewire the DB-37 connector or gasp! PUNCHBLOCKS?! SOLDERING?! Let's not do that anymore.

- DB-37 port mapping GPIO directly into your network
- 2 RJ45 connections allowing for additional Babelfish Ecosystem modules to be connected down/up stream
- User-defined via text file via Model 42 UI
- 3.5mm contact closure alarm output for Wegner
- Serial ALARM port to left 3.5mm port
- 3.5mm RS232 port allowing connection to PSD/Metadata for Wegner
- Serial from RDS/RBDS port to right 3.5mm port
- Send satellite metadata to MQTT broker to be utilized for RDS, Automation import, stream titles, etc.
