Radio Weather "WeatherMonster" is a monthly Subscription Service
RTI Media’s weather services for radio stations feature continuously updated weather ‘round the clock for both commercial and non-commercial stations. Our cloud-based system outputs near real-time weather to your automation - if your station is unattended you can still have current weather on the air 24/7. Our hourly service is not AI – and it was created by broadcasters for broadcasters.
With decades of experience in radio, telephony and audio content production (since 1991!), RTI Media is known for, among other things, the audio weather content for telephones we’ve provided for decades. We brought our radio, audio production and weather data expertise together to create the WeatherMonster suite of products. And our obsession with audio quality shows! All our products are available for a low monthly cost – no long term contracts! There is no software to install or learn, no manual to read, no limit on usage, no licenses or serial number complications. We’ll set up our service for your needs and we’ll generate as many weather audio files as you wish per hour. But we’re here not just to create great sounding weather audio your listeners will appreciate. We’re also here to provide a service you can sell. Our service is built to please sponsors too!
WeatherMonster is audio weather content for a variety of uses. Our platform produces high-quality audio in an automated way – but it’s still human speech – no robots! The use of automation allows us to produce customized audio content for radio stations, while keeping the per-market cost very affordable. Our audio includes current conditions, the forecast, watches & warnings, extended forecast and more.
- WeatherMonster Inserts: Broadcast quality audio weather drop-ins your radio automation can put on the air – allowing your station to provide continuously updated local information even when there are no staff members in the building.
- WeatherMonster Net: Many stations using ad insertion in their streams end up playing music for 30 or 60 seconds until the stream can return to the air signal. A perfect spot for WeatherMonster audio instead of music!
Our mission is to deliver accurate, quality weather content with some personality. Our service is cloud-based, but does not use AI – no robots!

- Alerts – if there is a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect – your listeners will hear it. Most radio weather services can’t provide alerts because their audio is not continuously updated
